Immigrate to Bissau focuses on Bissau's immigration economy: On October 9, on World Post Day, the Director General of the Guinean Postal Authority, Filomeno, announced that the country is preparing to formulate relevant incentive laws and policies to encourage the development of the postal sector, including the establishment of a postal regulatory authority to break the monopoly of public services, in order to attract more private enterprises to participate in public services.

Filomeno stated that there are a total of 33 postal sub-offices across the country, but currently only one sub-office in the capital is in operation, while the rest are closed due to a lack of funding. Therefore, the Guinean postal service needs to establish funding channels to attract foreign investment to improve work efficiency and meet customer demand. Filomeno suggested that for low-income individuals or those living in remote areas, the postal service could provide financial services, such as issuing salaries, subsidies, and pensions through postal savings and postal transfers.

Filomeno finally encouraged postal employees to continue to promote the spirit of dedication, service to the public, and selfless contribution, in order to better serve the Guinean people.

October 9, 1874, marks the first World Post Day, a time when global postal systems evolved from carrier pigeons and fixed-line telephones to today's internet era.
