Meanwhile, London, also in Europe, topped the list of the most expensive travel cities in Europe, with travel costs approximately 4 times those of Dublin.
The Post Office Travel Money report shows that the cost of visiting 6 cultural sites—museums, art galleries, heritage sites, ballet, opera, and classical concerts—in Dublin is only 76 pounds (equivalent to approximately 762 RMB), a decrease of 25% from last year; while in London, it costs 287.5 pounds (equivalent to approximately 2879.9 RMB), an increase of 12.5% from last year. Some individual tickets for attractions in London even exceed the cost of visiting 6 attractions in Dublin; for example, enjoying Rossini's opera "The Barber of Seville" (The Barber of Seville) costs 115 pounds (equivalent to 1153 RMB), and enjoying the classic play "Romeo and Juliet" (Romeo & Juliet) also costs 115 pounds.

Andrew Brown, a researcher for the Post Office Travel Money survey, said: "Last year, we recommended that travel enthusiasts visit Eastern European cities with high cost-effectiveness, such as Prague, Budapest, and Warsaw. Now, Dublin has become the most affordable city with the lowest travel costs, and flights to Dublin take less time and are also cheaper." He added: "Every city we surveyed has world-class cultural attractions, but the price differences are indeed significant."
