Spain Immigration focus on Spanish economic trends: Changyu, China's largest wine enterprise, held a press conference in Madrid on the 22nd to announce the completion of its acquisition of Marqués del Atrio, an influential wine company in Spain's Rioja region.

The press conference was hosted by Juan Antonio Samaranch Jr., son of the former International Olympic Committee President. Attendees included Lyu Fan, the Chinese Ambassador to Spain, and Carlos Falcó, Vice President of the Royal Academy of Gastronomy of Spain.
Zhou Hongjiang, General Manager of Changyu, stated that following the 2013 acquisition of the French Cognac estate Roullet-Fransac, this is another strategic acquisition for Changyu to establish a presence in world-class wine regions and integrate top-tier wine brand assets. It will further promote Changyu's globalization and build new advantages for the company in future market competition.
Chinese Ambassador to Spain, Lyu Fan, stated that the strong partnership between Changyu and Marqués del Atrio will not only strengthen the company's own capabilities but also holds significant importance for technical cooperation and wine culture exchange between China and Spain in the fields of viticulture and production.
Carlos Falcó, Vice President of the Royal Academy of Gastronomy of Spain, expressed his hope at the ceremony that this cross-border cooperation between two heavyweight wine enterprises from China and Spain would serve as a "window" for the people of both countries to understand each other's wine cultures and promote deeper exchanges in wine culture.
Marqués del Atrio is one of the top five producers in the Rioja region, with products sold in over 40 countries. The Spanish Rioja region, where the company is located, is Spain's largest high-quality wine region, with a winemaking history dating back over two thousand years. Rioja enjoys the reputation of being the "Bordeaux of Spain" in the international market, and its high-quality wines are sought after by numerous wine enthusiasts.
