Immigration and Business in Cyprus: Data recently released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus shows that the country's economy grew by 0.9% year-on-year in the second quarter of this year, a significant increase in growth compared to the first quarter.

Cypriot Finance Minister Harris Georgiades stated that the acceleration of economic recovery is encouraging and that Cyprus should continue to deepen reforms. He noted that these efforts have yielded deserved results, and Ministry of Finance analysts expect Cyprus's economic growth to exceed 1% this year.
Currently, Cyprus needs to continue advancing the privatization process of state-owned enterprises, such as telecommunications and ports, and reorganize its public sector. Previous data from the Statistical Service of Cyprus showed that the country's economy grew by 0.5% year-on-year in the first quarter of this year.
