Spanish Immigration is interested in immigration stories from Spain: According to Spanish media reports, Meng Tao, a Chinese resident in Barcelona, has been living in the town of Mataró for three and a half years. He practices martial arts daily in a park near his home. Many locals come to seek his guidance, and he now has over a hundred students, including numerous foreign disciples, and even seven or eight local police officers have sought his instruction, with two of them committing to daily lessons.
It is understood that Meng Tao moved abroad to Barcelona in 2013 and is currently a martial arts teacher at the Confucius Cultural School in Barcelona.
Regarding his relationship with these police disciples, Master Meng stated that it was through traditional Chinese medicine, including massage and acupuncture, that they became acquainted. A local police officer named Habib, who had a knee injury that prevented him from climbing stairs, found Master Meng for treatment through a Chinese friend. Now, he is not only able to work normally but has also become fascinated with Chinese martial arts, consistently learning Yang-style Tai Chi and Xing Yi Quan from Master Meng every day, applying the techniques of Chinese martial arts in his work.
Moreover, Habib actively promotes and even introduces his colleagues to learn Chinese martial arts from Master Meng.
According to Meng Tao, he plans to collaborate with the Confucius School in Barcelona at the end of this year to hold a small-scale demonstration competition featuring his students from Mataró and martial arts students from the Confucius School.
