Follow UK investment immigration and listen to stories of life in the UK: An excellent photographer must not only have an eye for beauty but also a spirit of adventure. According to a report by the British Daily Mail on the 18th, over the past six years, 25-year-old British photographer Lucinda Grange has specialized in climbing the world's most famous landmark buildings to take photos at their summits. Undeterred by security guards or the terrifying heights, she has captured a series of shocking, daredevil photographs.
In the past six years, 25-year-old British photographer Lucinda Grange has traveled to many of the world's most famous buildings. Like a daredevil, she has taken photos in extremely dangerous settings, from the Great Pyramid of Giza to the Forth Bridge in Scotland, the London Underground, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and Notre-Dame de Paris. She has left her mark on the very tops of these famous structures.
To capture the perfect shot, Grange ignores security evictions and terrifying heights, taking a series of shocking, daredevil photos hundreds of meters in the air. Grange has stated that adventure and challenge are part of her innate nature. She plans to release a limited-edition photo collection, and this extreme photographer will share her death-defying experiences and extraordinary life with the world. Her story is also set to be adapted into a Hollywood film.
Among the photos Grange has taken, the most iconic is one of her wearing a long evening gown at the top of New York's landmark Chrysler Building, where she appears to be swaying precariously in the wind. However, this image does not reveal the hardships Grange endured to get there. Describing the scene, she said: "Wearing a long gown was to hide a painful truth. The day before the shoot, I almost lost my leg while climbing another skyscraper. I bled a lot and had to undergo surgery. My broken leg was bandaged, and nerve damage affected my balance; otherwise, I would have walked closer to the eagle's head at the top."
To reach the top of the Chrysler Building, Grange and a friend made an appointment at a dental clinic on the 21st floor. From there, Grange snuck into the stairwell, climbed all the way to the 61st-floor penthouse, and then climbed out of a window onto the roof—all while dragging her injured leg. Grange set up her camera on a tripod, changed into her gown, and captured the stunning image.
