UK immigration focuses on life in the UK:Prince William, who became a father just over a month ago, is set to retire from the military soon and will begin to focus on his responsibilities as a member of the royal family.
On the 10th, Prince William completed his final duty as a search and rescue pilot in the Royal Air Force. Kensington Palace, which handles matters related to Prince William, announced on the 12th that after serving for over seven years, Prince William will retire from the military. A spokesperson for Kensington Palace stated that after his retirement, William will focus on royal duties and charitable work alongside his wife, Kate. Prince William plans to expand their work in environmental protection, particularly in the conservation of endangered species, through a foundation named after them and their brother, Prince Harry.
On the 12th, William participated in an event organized by the Royal Society aimed at protecting elephants and recorded two public service announcements calling for a reduction in the demand for rhino horn and ivory. These two public service announcements will be broadcast globally later this year.
In the coming weeks, Prince William, Princess Kate, and their son George will move from their residence in Wales to settle at Kensington Palace in London. Royal officials stated that the next year will be a "transitional period" for Prince William, during which he will not be engaged in royal affairs on a "full-time" basis.
