U.S. Immigration focus on U.S. immigrant life: Florida highways to open for autonomous trucks. Daimler's Freightliner
Inspiration is an autonomous truck approved for operation on Nevada highways, but it still requires a human operator on board. However, this autonomous truck produced by Royal Truck & Equipment in Pennsylvania is completely different; it requires no human intervention to operate.

According to the company, the truck is operated in three ways: GPS waypoint navigation, remote control, and a follow-me programming design.
Standard trucks are typically equipped with warning lights to alert motorists that they are approaching a construction zone and should keep their distance. However, many motorists still fail to react in time and collide with them. Since collisions between vehicles and highway construction trucks are common, these trucks are equipped with crash attenuators. While these barriers protect construction workers and motorists, they pose a life-threatening risk to occupants inside the truck cabin, which is why Royal Truck & Equipment designed it as an autonomous vehicle.
Royal Truck & Equipment unveiled this new technology in Pennsylvania and stated that they hope to have it on the road in Florida by the end of this year.
