The ashes will be placed in a specially designed capsule, secured to the Griffin lunar lander, and launched to the Moon aboard a Falcon 9 rocket. This service will be executed for the first time in the second half of this year.

The company will send the ashes of an Army soldier, Tevin Janks's mother, to the Moon. The company also stated that the first 50 participants will enjoy a discounted price of $9,950.
