U.S. Immigration focuses on life for U.S. immigrants: According to surveys by U.S. media, the American "Millennial" generation (those born between 1984 and 1995) possesses more spending and purchasing power than any generation born before 2017. The current consumer trends and habits of young Americans have significantly influenced U.S. production, pricing, and even corporate strategic development. In this regard, The
Cheat Sheet website has listed the top 10 expenditures that young Americans least prefer.

Ranking first is pay television. Although approximately 71% of media consumption in the United States is delivered via television platforms, young Americans aged 14 to 24 do not favor pay television; viewership is declining year by year, with about 24% of young people either not subscribing to pay television or opting out of watching television altogether. Ranking second is the landline telephone. Due to the high penetration of mobile devices, about two-thirds of young Americans live in households that rely solely on mobile networks and do not install landline telephones. Ranking third is luxury goods; compared to expensive luxury items, young Americans are more willing to spend money on food such as vegetables and fruits, as well as eco-friendly products.
Other expenditures that young Americans are less inclined to make include: popular mass-market beers like Miller; housing; weddings; investments; automobiles; health insurance; and children's products.
