Recently, the Hong Kong government has launched the "ESP Easy Application — Simplified Application Scheme" based on the "Enterprise Support Scheme" which focuses on brand development, upgrading and transformation, and expanding the domestic sales market. This scheme aims to assist enterprises in enhancing their competitiveness or expanding their market in Mainland China, and applications will be accepted from now until September 30.
The Hong Kong government stated that the introduction of "ESP Easy Application" aims to provide more appropriate assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises by simplifying the application procedures. Any non-listed company registered in Hong Kong and operating a substantial business for at least three years is eligible to apply for the scheme.
Funding will be disbursed on a matching basis after project completion, with a maximum grant of HKD 170,000 for each project. In addition to "ESP Easy Application," enterprises can continue to apply for funding under the general application procedures of the "Enterprise Support Scheme," with the next application deadline also set for September 30.
