As CEO of the Citizenship by Investment Unit, Mr. Donald Myatt oversees the work of the unit and serves as its highest administrative official, reporting directly to the Prime Minister. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Myatt served as a senior executive in the Canadian immigration department and possesses extensive experience in immigration application processing. He is very familiar with the experience and advantages that Worldway Immigration has long held in promoting fast-track citizenship programs for various Commonwealth countries, and he expressed satisfaction with Worldway's achievements in being the first to introduce the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment program (fast-track passport program) to China.
Dr. Winner Xing, President of Worldway Group, thanked the Citizenship by Investment Unit for its high efficiency in approving Worldway clients' Antigua immigration applications, which were granted in just 32 days. Mr. Myatt happily remarked that this was because Worldway's documentation was well-organized and complied with the review standards of the Citizenship by Investment Unit of Antigua and Barbuda.
During the meeting, Mr. Myatt emphasized the importance of due diligence and introduced the standards, procedures, and requirements for the unit's case reviews. Dr. Winner Xing introduced Mr. Myatt to the operational processes of Worldway's three major documentation centers, as well as the work done in conducting due diligence and strictly vetting application documents to ensure that every investor's application meets the requirements of the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment program. Mr. Myatt expressed his full approval of these efforts.
During the meeting, the two parties also explored how to improve the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment program to make it the most attractive investment immigration program globally. On behalf of Worldway Immigration, Dr. Winner Xing proposed three suggestions to the Citizenship by Investment Unit: first, to lower the current fee standards; second, to cancel the requirement of residing for a cumulative 35 days within five years; and third, to improve the efficiency of due diligence. After carefully listening to the suggestions from Worldway Group, Mr. Myatt stated that he would report these constructive opinions to the Prime Minister.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties shook hands and posed for a photo in an atmosphere of mutual trust.
