To express gratitude for the trust and support of new and old clients, the “Soaring Eagles” Visas Consulting Group American Scout Autumn Camp, jointly organized by Visas Consulting Group and the Visas Consulting Group Wealth Club, was recently held successfully in Shanghai. The event featured a variety of outdoor development and skills training activities, such as archery, campfire building, Gaga ball, rock climbing & zip-lining, etc. Each project was deeply loved by the children and provided them with a unique experience.
Archery
In the Zhou Dynasty of ancient China, archery was classified as one of the “Six Arts” and became a required course for the nobility. It emphasized humility and courtesy. Through the process of archery, children’s behavior is influenced in a subtle way, which is easier for them to accept than rigid textbook knowledge.
Campfire Building
In a wild environment, children use natural materials and primitive methods like flint to build a fire by hand, enabling them to survive more easily in the wilderness.
Gaga Ball
Gaga ball is a popular American ball game with rules reminiscent of the Seven Warring States period, focusing on “horizontal and vertical alliances.” First, children must learn to work together to defeat the biggest threat; then, the team competes internally to eliminate one another. Ultimately, the one who remains standing is the true hero, representing the strength of the team that achieved victory.
Rock Climbing & Zip-lining
This can be considered a comprehensive experience of endurance and courage. The pleasure and sense of accomplishment felt after reaching the highest point through strenuous effort is certainly unforgettable. Many girls participated and tried it bravely as well. When it comes to being brave, there is clearly no distinction between genders.
This autumn camp provided children with the opportunity to learn and explore new things. The knowledge gained through hands-on experience in new environments will benefit children for a lifetime. This autumn camp offered diverse projects to enrich members' experiences; it can be said that every training session taught the children some necessary life skills.
