At the beginning of the 2017 New Year, many EB-5 projects represented by Worldway Group have recently reported good news regarding approvals, repayments, strong financial performance, stable operations, or smooth progress. It was recently learned that the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center EB-5 project, represented by Worldway Group, has welcomed the first batch of EB-5 investor repayments.
In early January 2017, the EB-5 limited partnership received the first repayment from the project borrower, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Currently, the project team is actively assisting the first batch of EB-5 investors in processing the receipt of repayments. Repayments for other batches of investors are also being prepared for processing.
The two hospitals of the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center EB-5 project—the Seidman Cancer Center and the Ahuja Medical Center—are fully operational. The jobs created far exceed the requirements of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), providing sufficient employment security for all EB-5 investors to remove conditions on their I-829 petitions.
University Hospitals has a massive scale and stable operations in the Greater Cleveland area, a consolidated and expanding market, maintains operating profits while undergoing mergers and acquisitions, has reasonable capital expenditure planning, and follows a conservative asset allocation strategy. Moody's has consistently maintained an A2 credit rating for University Hospitals.
According to the explicit provisions of the University Hospitals Master Trust Indenture, the two loans for the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center EB-5 project are guaranteed by the financial revenues of the entire healthcare system. Audit results of the University Hospitals financial statements also indicate that it is fully capable of repaying all loans on time.
