It is well known that the U.S. Department of State publishes a visa bulletin at the beginning of each month to confirm whether investors who have received I-526 approval are eligible to initiate immigration visa or status adjustment procedures. Recently, Worldway Immigration Group has learned that the U.S. Department of State has officially released the visa bulletin for February 2017:
Table A: Final Action Date (FAD)
(Note: Consular interview & USCIS submission of I-485 status adjustment application)

Table B: Date for Filing Application (DFF)
(Note: For those who have obtained legal status in the U.S., submit I-485 status adjustment application to USCIS)

[Worldway Interpretation]
According to Table A, if your I-526 has been approved and your priority date is earlier than April 15, 2014, you may initiate a consular interview in February 2017 or submit an I-485 application in the U.S. to obtain an immigration visa or green card.
The Department of State publishes the visa bulletin every month, which includes both Table A and Table B. However, the decision to activate Table B lies with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Therefore, Worldway Immigration will continue to monitor the latest developments regarding the activation of Table B and provide timely updates, so please stay tuned!
Finally, Worldway Immigration experts state that the deadline for the Final Action Date (FAD) has slowed down this month after advancing two weeks each month for three consecutive months since the beginning of the new fiscal year 2017. It can be anticipated that the EB-5 visa backlog will remain severe in fiscal year 2017.
[Friendly Reminder]
Worldway Immigration reminds investors to carefully select projects. Based on a comprehensive consideration of various factors of the project, a project that has already received sample approval from USCIS is a good choice.
Although the EB-5 program has been temporarily extended, there are still warnings of policy changes. In particular, the increase in the minimum investment amount has already become one of the basic consensuses reached by Congress. EB-5 investors should cherish the current opportunity of extension, submit applications as early as possible, and successfully complete submissions before the new legislation is enacted to avoid the risk of price increases.
Worldway has accurately gauged the direction of U.S. investment immigration policy changes and has carefully selected three high-quality projects that have received sample approval from USCIS, assisting investors in seizing the last chance before the price increase for U.S. immigration.
