On May 15, amidst a bright, sunny day following rain in Beijing, the Worldway Group Beijing office grandly hosted a seminar for the U.S. investment immigration Nevada Solar Power EB-5 project. The seminar invited Mr. Wesley Ahlgren, Board Member of the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP); Mr. Jim Seol, President of the project developer WRCI Regional Center; Mr. Pierre Pan, Director of WRCI Regional Center; and Ms. Sisy Shen, Risk Control Manager, to Beijing to join Worldway's U.S. immigration experts in personally explaining the project's advantages and U.S. immigration trends to investors.
Mr. Pierre Pan, Director of WRCI Regional Center
In 2016, Worldway Group achieved success with five major U.S. immigration projects, receiving continuous good news. Coinciding with the 10th anniversary of its U.S. immigration business, Worldway continues its legacy by launching the Nevada Solar Power EB-5 project. As a strong and continuous rigid demand of the U.S. economy, electricity holds broad market development prospects. This project is the 4th EB-5 project built, operated, and invested in by NextEra Energy Capital Holdings Inc., the world's largest wind and solar power company, and has received strong attention both in the United States and internationally.

Mr. Wesley Ahlgren introduced the operational strength of the WRCI Regional Center, and Mr. Jim Seol provided an in-depth analysis of the project's advantages. The Nevada Solar Power EB-5 project possesses exceptional repayment capability. NextEra Energy Capital Holdings Inc. is rated as an A- stable enterprise by the three major rating agencies. An A- rating means the company has no record of default or overdue payments. Furthermore, as a dual guarantee, the large, high-quality, NYSE-listed parent company, NextEra Energy Inc. (with a 2015 turnover of $17.48 billion and total assets of $82.48 billion), which is also rated as an A- stable enterprise by the three major rating agencies, has committed to providing a full, unconditional repayment guarantee for the project.

Another highlight of the project is that construction officially began in May 2014. To date, 79% of the total project has been completed. It is backed by a completion guarantee from a NASDAQ-listed company and is expected to be completed in September 2016. A 3.1x super-high employment rate and sufficient job creation are other prominent highlights of this project. The construction costs alone will create 8,485 jobs, which is 2.8 times the requirement set by the USCIS.
In addition, the Nevada Solar Power project has received dual support from U.S. government funding and policies. Once completed, all generated electricity will be transmitted to Southern California Edison, one of the largest integrated power companies in the United States, with which a 20-year power supply agreement has already been signed.
There is less than 5 months left until the U.S. EB-5 Regional Center Program expires on September 30. Many prospective investors have been waiting on the sidelines for a long time to ensure a secure immigration path for their families. Immigration experts at Worldway Beijing remind investors that acting early is imperative. At the same time, it is important to appropriately mitigate risks and choose a reputable immigration firm to handle related business.
