Immigrating to the Philippines, studying in the Philippines; how should you apply for a visa??The application methods are as follows:

1、Apply directly at the embassy yourself

Application process(The following materials are based on the Philippine Embassy in Beijing! Based on adults!)

  Required documents:

  1、Round-trip air ticket(Must have a return ticket!)

2、Proof of deposit of over 20,000 RMB(It is recommended to freeze it for more than 3 months) obtained from a bank, or an English employment certificate. See the attachment at the end of the article for the content of the employment certificate.

3、2 application forms(Can be obtained at the embassy or downloaded and printed online)

4、Two color photos with a white background taken within 6 months 35×45mm

5、Original passport with more than 6 months of validity(For those who have renewed their passport, provide all original old passports)

6、If you have been to the Philippines, you need the original of your last visa(It is said to be required, but when I went, they didn't ask for it even after I gave it to them)

7、2 photocopies of both sides of your ID card

Fees: A regular visa is 167.5 RMB(3~4 working days)

An expedited visa is 335 RMB(Apply this morning, pick up tomorrow afternoon)

Remember: Visa materials are only accepted in the morning, and visas are picked up in the afternoon!!

Just take it to them, and then go pick it up at the designated time!!

2、Entrust a travel agency to handle it

Visas handled by travel agencies cannot be extended, or even if they can, they can only be extended once. Therefore, try to go to the embassy yourself if you can. Extensions can only be made at most once, meaning if you have a 59-day visa, you can extend it for 30 days here, for a maximum of 89 days. Therefore, for students who want to stay for more than 12 weeks, or for those who find it convenient to go to the embassy in China, it is highly recommended to get the visa yourself!!

The materials required for agency handling are very simple: passport, photos, completed forms, and money. Compared to handling it yourself, the price for agency handling is generally more than 2 times higher. You can use platforms like Taobao or Trip.com.

II: Permissible length of stay(Refers to the time in the Philippines after entry)

Current Philippine visas are mainly for 14 days, 30 days, and 59 days. Xiamen can process 59-day visas, while in Beijing and other places, 30-day visas are generally processed.

III: Validity period after processing until departure

After the visa is processed, it has a validity period of 90 days, which means you can depart within ninety days of receiving the visa. After ninety days, the visa will automatically become invalid.

  IV: Introduction to relevant embassies:

Currently, the Philippine Embassy has consular districts in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xiamen, and Chongqing. When applying for a visa, you can make reasonable arrangements based on the embassy closest to you.
