This is the second time AirAsia has increased frequency on the Shenzhen-Kuala Lumpur route. The newly added flight is AK128/9, operating once daily with an Airbus A320. Starting April 29, the flight will depart Kuala Lumpur at 22:25 and arrive in Shenzhen at 2:15 the following day; it will depart Shenzhen at 3:15 AM and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 7:10 AM. The increase in flight frequency on the Shenzhen-Kuala Lumpur route not only marks the beginning of international flight operations at Shenzhen Airport between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM, helping to alleviate capacity pressure during peak hours at Shenzhen Airport, but also provides more travel time options for mainland travelers destined for Malaysia.
