Immigrate to Hong Kong for Hong Kong news: According to the Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, the MTR Corporation will launch a new promotion for one year starting in April, with one day each month designated as a winning day. Hong Kong residents celebrating their birthday on that day will receive a special edition all-day pass, allowing unlimited travel on most MTR routes for one day, as well as a cash voucher worth HKD 50, which can be used for purchases at MTR-managed shopping malls. It is expected that this initiative will benefit 20,000 people.
MTR's Business Director, Yang Mei Zhen, stated that the first lottery will be held on the 22nd of next month. The MTR will announce the winning dates in newspapers and on the MTR website on or before the 25th. Birthday winners in April can claim their birthday prize at designated redemption points in most MTR stations on any Sunday morning from 11 AM to 6 PM during that month, or at the Hung Hom Station Passenger Service Center during the same hours on weekdays. This promotion is not age-restricted, and there is no limit on the distribution of all-day passes.
