Life in Canada as an Immigrant: Recent scientific research in Canada indicates that pregnant women benefit significantly from consuming more chocolate. This is because chocolate not only helps detoxify but also provides benefits to the placenta. The flavonoids it contains can promote fetal growth, enhance the effectiveness of the placenta, and reduce the risk of preeclampsia.
Scientists invited 129 pregnant women, varying from 11 to 14 weeks of pregnancy, to participate in the experiment, during which the women could consume an average of 30 grams of different chocolates daily over a period of 12 weeks. Throughout this process, specialists monitored the health of these pregnant women until delivery.
