Canada is renowned as a "skiing paradise." Its high-latitude, forest-rich geography and long winters make it highly favored by ski enthusiasts. Across Canada, there are nearly a thousand ski resorts with excellent snow quality, ranging from those with deep snowpack and near-vertical drops to those with snow as fine as champagne bubbles. Immigrate to Canada, ride across the vast snowfields, let the kicked-up powder hit your back, and gaze at the silver-clad coniferous forests in the distance; the vastness and magnificence of Canada are fully revealed. The cold season can also provide you with memories filled with warmth.

In a corner of the world, there is a place called Whistler, a skiing paradise and a place that will make you linger and not want to leave. In the last two years, more and more Chinese people have been taking their families to Whistler for sightseeing and skiing during the Spring Festival. "Whistler is said to be the number one ski resort in North America and ranks among the top ten in the world. I believe everyone who has been there and seen it has their own Whistler story," a ski enthusiast remarked.

Whistler is a resort town in the Canadian province of British Columbia, located 125 kilometers from Vancouver. It is a world-renowned winter ski destination, attracting millions of visitors every year for its world-famous alpine skiing and mountain biking venues. Beyond winter activities, Whistler is also spectacular in the summer, with a series of summer festivals filling Whistler Village with music and passion. Additionally, because of its pure air and pleasant scenery, Whistler is considered a health resort by many.

According to reports, Whistler has two mountains: Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain. Together, they possess 8,171 acres of skiable terrain, 16 alpine bowls, 13 glaciers, and over 200 marked trails. Whistler Blackcomb alone has an average annual snowfall of 11.6 meters. The Whistler Mountain ski resort opened in 1966 and includes professional, intermediate, and beginner-friendly trails, making it the ski resort with the most trails in Canada. The ski season runs from November each year until May of the following year, and occasionally extends to August when weather permits. In 1988, Whistler Mountain introduced a 10-passenger high-speed gondola. As the number of skiers increased year by year, another 6-passenger high-speed gondola route was added in 1996. The Blackcomb Mountain ski resort opened in 1980 and installed an 8-passenger high-speed gondola. Its ski trails are wider than those on Whistler Mountain but feature more slopes, making them less suitable for beginners. There are two glaciers on the summit, Horstman and Blackcomb; experienced skiers can experience the thrill of skiing on the glaciers. The summit of Blackcomb Mountain is snow-covered year-round, and you can enjoy the fun of skiing even in the summer on the Horstman Glacier. Even more valuable is that each section has green (beginner), blue (intermediate), and black (advanced) trails. To prevent issues for those with color blindness, they are also marked with circles, diamonds, and triangles.

As the designated ski competition venue for the 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, Whistler, with its ski schools and spectacular top-tier flagship hotels, has become a premier resort destination in North America. Professional children's and youth ski schools, special family area designs, and the fascinating "Tree Fort" and "Magic Castle" allow the whole family to experience the fun on the snow together.

The multi-faceted experience is not limited to skiing. The Coca-Cola Tube Park in Whistler is a snow-tubing game suitable for family participation. The whole family can pile into a snow tube and rush down the 300-plus meter track accompanied by the children's screams; it is both exciting and safe, and will surely have the children begging for more.

Take the Peak 2 Peak Gondola that crosses between Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain. The bottom of the two silver cabins is made of glass, allowing you to see the mountain scenery beneath your feet and enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Whistler. Looking out from the gondola, the snow-capped mountains stretch endlessly in the distance, and everywhere you look are natural, high-quality ski trails. All of this is undoubtedly the best gift winter gives to skiers.

In addition, Whistler is a hub for ski and outdoor equipment stores. For beginners, it is difficult to choose suitable ski gear. The experience centers in Whistler offer a "try before you buy" service, so even novice skiers can select the right equipment and fully enjoy the fun of skiing.
