Greece is the gateway for China to Europe and can open the European corridor to the Far East. The Prime Minister of Greece has stated that they will go to great lengths to attract investors to Greece, with companies from China, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, and other countries expressing interest in investing in Greece. Greece has a thriving tourism industry, abundant mineral resources, and marine resources. New energy sources such as solar and wind energy are also developing rapidly in Greece. The enormous investment potential in Greece has led many overseas investors to choose immigration to Greece in search of more business opportunities.

In addition, the economic recovery in Greece is improving. In the latest rating decision by the Canadian rating agency DBRS, Greece's long-term foreign and local currency issuer rating was upgraded from "CC" to "CCC (high)" while maintaining its short-term foreign and local currency issuer rating at "R-5" with a stable outlook.

DBRS announced in July of this year 7 that it had downgraded Greece's rating, at which time the agency believed that the possibility of Greece exiting the Eurozone and private sector debt default was increasing in the absence of unconditional loan financial support.

However, according to the latest statement released, DBRS indicated that the decision to upgrade the rating reflects that the existing financial support programs from the European Union, European Central Bank, European Stability Mechanism, and International Monetary Fund are helping to achieve stability in the economy and financial sector.
