However, according to a report on the website iPhone in Canada on Tuesday, information from the Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD Canada Trust) indicates that the bank is about to start supporting Apple Pay. The bank's official website displayed a link to a page about Apple Pay, and Apple Pay will begin to support personal TD Visa credit cards and TD debit cards for the bank's customers, with an initial maximum payment amount of $100.

TD's U.S. subsidiary, TD Bank (TD Bank), began supporting Apple Pay in December 2014, which also makes its parent company likely to be the first bank in Canada to support Apple Pay.

However, currently, neither Apple Inc. nor TD Canada Trust has provided an official response.
