Portugal Immigration focus on Portugal immigration life: According to the Daily Mail, a giant ocean sunfish measuring up to 5 meters was discovered off the coast of Portugal, with divers appearing only as large as its fins. The ocean sunfish belongs to the class Actinopterygii and inhabits tropical, subtropical, temperate, and cold oceans; it is also found along the coast of China. As a large oceanic fish, it is a giant relative of the pufferfish and the heaviest of all bony fish, with a maximum body length reaching 3～5.5 meters and weighing 1.4～3.5 tons. Ocean sunfish swim alone or in pairs, sometimes in groups of more than a dozen. Smaller individuals are more active and often leap out of the water, while larger individuals move slowly and often lie on their sides on the surface or expose their dorsal fins, though they can also dive to depths of over a hundred meters.
In English-speaking countries, the fish is called an ocean sunfish, while in Spain, it is known as the moonfish. The scientific name of the ocean sunfish is mola mola, which means "millstone." The English name "ocean sunfish" may be related to its habit of floating to the surface to "sunbathe," which is why some also call it the "sunfish." The French call this ugly-cute fish the "moonfish"; it is reported that the ocean sunfish likes to lie on its side on the surface of the sea and emit a faint glow at night. The Germans call the ocean sunfish the "swimming head" because it has a short tail, a large, round, and flat body, as well as big eyes and a pouting mouth. Its cute appearance resembles a cartoon head, which is how it earned this unique name.
