Latvia Immigration Education: The Confucius Classroom at Daugavpils University in Latvia was officially established on the 2nd. This is the second Confucius Classroom to be established in Latvia, following the one at the Riga Culture Secondary School.

In his speech, Huang Yong expressed his gratitude to all sectors of Latvian society for their hard work in opening the new Confucius Classroom and wished for the Daugavpils University Confucius Classroom to develop its own unique characteristics and cultivate more friendly envoys who understand and love Chinese culture.
In his remarks, Lāčplēsis praised the establishment of the Confucius Classroom in Daugavpils, stating that it "not only opens a window for Daugavpils University students but also provides an important platform for economic and cultural exchanges between Daugavpils and China."
At the unveiling ceremony, Huang Yong also presented Chinese language books to the Confucius Classroom at Daugavpils University.
