Canadian Dentist Seeks to Clone John Lennon Using a Tooth

The dentist, named Michael Zuk, is from Alberta, Canada. Two years ago, he purchased one of Lennon's teeth from Lennon's housekeeper for $33,000 (approximately 205,000 RMB). In an interview with Britain's Channel 4, he mentioned that his goal is to possess John Lennon's DNA, and he firmly believes that the genome of a Beatles member is invaluable.

Regarding the legality of owning a cloned individual, Zuk believes that one can exploit legal loopholes in countries with lenient regulations. He stated that it depends on the region, as what is not permitted in one country might be feasible in another. Once he has a "cloned" Lennon, he plans to have him study guitar under American rap master Lil John to see if he can become a famous musician just like the real John Lennon.

Zuk is mapping out a blueprint for his "cloned son," hoping to cultivate him into a rock star and wishing that he, like John Lennon himself—who created classic albums such as "Rubber Soul" and "Magical Mystery Tour"—will stay away from bad habits like smoking and drug use.
