On the afternoon of June 5, 2013, at 4:00 PM local time, the incumbent President of Portugal, Mr. Cavaco Silva, met with Dr. Winner Xing, President of WorldWay Group, at the presidential residence. The two parties held a cordial and friendly discussion. Accompanying Dr. Xing were senior executives from the WorldWay Group European Customer Service Center. WorldWay is the only immigration agency in China to have been received by the President of Portugal.

Since the launch of the Portuguese Golden Residence Permit Program in October 2012, WorldWay has responded rapidly. The group's management traveled to Portugal to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the project's viability and inspected local properties. WorldWay was the first to establish a customer service center in Europe and introduced the Golden Residence Program to China. In early 2013, the President of WorldWay and the Portuguese Ambassador to China, Mr. José Tadeu Soares, jointly launched the "Official Launch of the Portuguese Golden Residence Program in China" in Shanghai. Subsequently, WorldWay collaborated with the Commercial Section of the Portuguese Embassy in China and Ms. Alexandra Leite, Economic Counselor of the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade, to promote Portuguese immigration in China. Recently, Mr. Campos, Counselor of the Portuguese Embassy in China, was also invited to attend the WorldWay European Immigration Roadshow. As a leading institution in Portuguese investment immigration, WorldWay aims to provide the most professional and comprehensive immigration and investment services to investors in Portugal.
This meeting between the President of Portugal and the President of WorldWay signifies the high level of importance and recognition the Portuguese government places on the Golden Residence Permit Program, as well as its support and affirmation of the positive role WorldWay Group has played in promoting the project in China and assisting Chinese citizens in investing in Portugal. Following the meeting between the then-President of Cyprus, Mr. Demetris Christofias, and the President of WorldWay on August 11 of last year, this marks the second time WorldWay has been personally received by a European head of state, representing the highest level of official reception accorded to a Chinese immigration agency by a European government.
