Portugal Fund Immigration

Portugal, located in the southwestern part of the Iberian Peninsula in Europe, borders Spain to the east, north, and west, and is adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean to the southwest. Citizens of non-EU countries wishing to apply for the Portugal Golden Visa must invest €500,000 in a Portuguese fund, with a minimum investment period of five years.

1. The funds invested by the investors and the fund managers are supervised by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) and the Banco de Portugal.
2. 60% of the investment in the fund portfolio must be invested in commercial companies headquartered in Portugal to promote the development of the Portuguese economy and employment.
3. According to the latest provisions of the Portuguese Golden Residence Permit Law, the fund invested by the investor cannot directly or indirectly invest in real estate projects.
